Winter Storm Watch from Saturday Morning (1/23) through Sunday Afternoon (1/24) 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH FROM SATURDAY MORNING (1/23) THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON (1/24). A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW, SLEET OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 8 INCHES.
* WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.
* VISIBILITIES...ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.
Residents are also reminded that a Borough Ordinance prohibits the shoveling, placing, throwing or blowing of snow into or upon any street in Fair Lawn.
The Borough would also like to remind residents that for the safety and welfare of our residents, please attempt to clear snow around fire hydrants and crosswalks.
