Armed Robbery Reported at 203 S. Jackson St.
On January 19, 2016 at 6:15 pm Janesville Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at 203 S. Jackson St. The victims reported the lone suspect walked into their home armed with a handgun. The suspect asked for the safe, money, and weed. The victim's pit bull walked toward the suspect. The suspect shot the dog, and left the house.
The dog was treated for the injury and is doing fine.
The suspect fled the area.
The suspect is described as: male, white, 20 to 30 years old, pale looking skin by the eyes, 5'7" - 5'8", slender build, possibly blue eyes, wearing a black mask, black form fitting jacket with lighter colored buttons or snaps, dark colored sweat pants, and black gloves.
