HSEM is monitoring the weather system that will move into NH tonight. Originally planned to move in around 6pm-7pm tonight, it is now anticipated to reach much of the state around midnight. Accumulation will start after midnight for much of the state, the Seacoast will likely receive more rain than snow. This storm is expected to linger longer than anticipated.

Total accumulations have dropped a bit:
· Eastern half of the state: 4-6 inches of wet snow
· Far north: 3-4 inches of wet snow
· Seacoast: < 1 inch of wet snow, mostly rain

Ice accretion remains the same around 1/10 inch. Strongest winds will be along the coast and remain around 10-15 mph.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1am to 4pm Saturday for Sullivan, Merrimack, Cheshire, Hillsborough and Rockingham counties.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3am to 6pm Saturday for Grafton, southern Carroll, Belknap, and Strafford counties.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3am to 10pm Saturday for Coos, Grafton and northern Carroll counties.

“A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.” -NWS
