Marijuana Dispensary Employee Shot During Armed Robbery, 7300 Block of Pearblossom Hwy, Little Rock

DATE:  Thursday, January 14, 2016

TIME:  4:05 PM

VICTIM:  3 Male Adults

SUSPECT:  3 to 5 Male Black Adults

LOCATION:  7300 Block of Pearblossom Highway, Little Rock

UNIT:  Palmdale Sheriff Station

 

NARRATIVE:  On Thursday, January 14, 2016, at approximately 4:05 pm, Palmdale Sheriff Station received a 9-1-1 call of an “Armed Robbery” that had just occurred at the “Little Rock Medical Marijuana Dispensary” in the 7300 block of Pearblossom Highway, Little Rock. 

Deputies responded to the scene and found one male White adult had been shot in the stomach area, but he was walking around, and able to talk to the deputies.  A second victim, a male White adult, had been pistol whipped in the head by the suspects, while they demanded money, marijuana and the victim’s property.   A third victim, a male White adult, had been ordered to the floor, where he was kicked and punched.

The victims described the suspects as three to five male Black adults, dressed with black hoodie type jackets, and masks covering their faces.  Two of the suspects were armed with semi-automatic handguns. 

The suspects stole an unknown amount of U.S. currency, cell phones, unknown quantities of marijuana and one computer hard-drive. 

The dispensary employee was shot in the stomach by one of the suspect’s, as they fled the dispensary out of the back door.  The suspects entered a white car and fled in an unknown direction.

All three victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated for their injuries.  They are all listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation and will be jointly investigated by the Palmdale Station Detective Bureau and The Palmdale Station “Operation Safe Streets” personnel.
