Avoid the intersection of El Molino Avenue and Maple Street due to a fatal traffic collision. The investigation is ongoing. 
On January 12, at about 12:31 a.m. Pasadena Police Officers responded to the intersection of El Molino Avenue and Maple Street regarding a traffic collision. On arrival, Officers found the collision involved two vehicles. There were a total of five victims in one of the involved cars. Two adult females sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Three other victims (in the same car as the female fatalities) were transported to a local area hospital, all in serious condition. The driver of the second car was treated at the scene. It is not known at this time if alcohol was involved. The Los Angeles County Coroner responded to the collision to assist. Our investigation is ongoing.
