The stealing of cars is on the rise! The Artesia SAO Team is giving away free anti-theft devices to Artesia residents. 
The stealing of cars increased significantly from 2014 to 2015. Via donations, Lakewood Sheriff's Station and the Artesia SAO Team have taken possession of anti-theft wheel claws and steering wheel clubs to give to Artesia residents who own commonly stolen cars. http://www.dmv.org/insurance/most-stolen-cars-and-other-vehicles.php If you would like an anti-theft device (free), please contact Artesia Sergeant Greg Knapp at 562-623-3530.
