Crime Stoppers: Police seek help locating Trinidad Alcantar, 63, who went missing in 2007 and may now be in Deming.

Investigators Hope to Find 63-year-old Man

Las Cruces Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 63-year-old man who has been missing since 2007 and now may be residing in Deming, N.M.

Trinidad Alcantar has been missing from his Las Cruces home since Feb. 6, 2007. Investigators learned that Alcantar did not have a vehicle at the time and simply walked away from his home.

No criminal activity is suspected in Alcantar’s disappearance.

Several attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. A relative of the man recently told investigators that Alcantar now may be residing in Deming or in the vicinity.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 that helps investigators find Alcantar. Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip by text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.

The Crime Stoppers number and text messaging services are operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
