Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives responded to the 2200 block of Batson Avenue, unincorporated Rowland Heights, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of four adults on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at approximately 8:38 p.m.
Homicide detectives report the arrested suspect's name is Christopher Morey, male White 33- years-old.
Detectives have confirmed four deaths at the location.
The investigation is continuing.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives responded to the 2200 block of Batson Avenue, unincorporated Rowland Heights, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of four adults on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at approximately 8:38 p.m.
When homicide detectives arrived, they learned that Walnut Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the location for a “Gunshot victim” call. Upon their arrival, they discovered four gunshot victims, a male White 27 years-old, a female White 48 years-old, a male White 54 years-old and an additional female White 54 years old. All individuals were suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics responded and pronounced the victims dead at the scene.
According to witnesses, all but one of the victims was staying at the residence. Sometime during the evening, the 54 year-old male, took a handgun and shot the other victims. The suspect’s 33 year-old son was able to wrestle the gun away from his father and shot him one time, killing him.
It is unknown at this time why the 54 year-old male suspect shot the victims.
The murder weapon, a semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene.
The 33 year-old suspect was arrested for the murder of his father. He was booked at Walnut Station and is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
The investigation is still ongoing.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 2200 block of Batson Avenue, Rowland Heights, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect is in-custody.
There is no additional information available at this time and the investigation is on-going.
