Arrests Made in Prostitution House Operation
Yesterday, in a continuing effort to combat human trafficking, officers conducted a “prostitution/escort” sting after investigating ads for sexual services placed on an internet site. An undercover officer responded to an ad containing provocative photos of a female and was directed to an apartment on the unit block of Hillside Boulevard at 9:50 a.m. The undercover officer was then solicited for sexual intercourse by the “masseuse”. The officers found items indicating that the “masseuse” was, in fact, operating as a prostitute. The “masseuse”, a 46-year old Oakland resident, was arrested for prostitution.
Later in the afternoon at 1:33, an undercover officer responded to another ad from the same internet site and was directed to a residence on the 300 block of Shipley Avenue. Like the first case, the undercover officer was solicited for sexual intercourse by the “masseuse”. This “masseuse”, a 30-year old Daly City resident, was arrested for prostitution.
Both locations were investigated for human trafficking, and after a lengthy investigation, it was determined the prostitutes were operating independently.
