Grand Theft- 800 Block of Parkway
A Community Service Officer reported an unknown suspect stole power tools from the victim’s vehicle. The theft occurred between 11/28@2000 - 11/29@0700 hours.

Commercial Burglary-11100 Block of San Pablo Ave.
An officer reported an unknown suspect smashed out the drive through window of the business to gain access. The suspect stole cash. The burglary occurred in between 12/13@2300-12/14@0930 hours.

Commercial Burglary- 7000 Block of Moeser Ln.
An officer reported an unknown suspect entered an unsecured door to gain access to the building. The suspect entered an office area and removed cash. The burglary occurred on 12/12@1626 hours.

Vandalism- 500 Block of Kearney St.
An officer reported an unknown suspect smashed the driver’s side window on the victim’s vehicle causing damage. The vandalism occurred between 12/13@2000 - 12/14@1400.

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave. / Potrero Ave
At 0205 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 30 year Richmond man for a warrant during a traffic stop. He was booked and issued a citation.

Driving under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage - Potrero Ave / Kearney Street:
At 0207 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 32 year Richmond man for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage during a traffic stop. He was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

December 15th

Commercial Burglary- 7000 Block of Moeser Ln.
An officer reported an unknown suspect entered the building via an unsecured door. The suspect rummaged through several cabinets and stole property. The burglary occurred between 12/14@2200 hours.

Disorderly Conduct (Drunk in Public) Nations - 6060 Central Avenue:
At 0247 hours, an officer was flagged down regarding a disturbance in the bathroom at Nations. A 42 year old El Cerrito man and a 24 year old Castro Valley man were contracted and found to be heavily intoxicated. Both had injuries consistent with them fighting, however both denied being involved in a fight. Both were booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

December 16th

Theft from Vehicle- 1700 Block of Arlington Blvd.
An officer reported that an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole property. The theft occurred between 12/15@2200 - 12/16@0800 hours.

Theft- 1100 block of Arlington Blvd.
At 1555 hours, an officer reported an unknown suspect stole a package from the victim’s porch.

December 17th

Stolen Vehicle-1600 block of Kearney St.
An officer reported an unknown suspect stole the victim’s 2003 copper color Chevrolet Avalanche. The theft occurred between 12/16@2200 - 12/17@0745.

Commercial Burglary-11100 block of San Pablo Ave.
An officer reported that an unknown suspect smashed out the window of the business’ front door to gain entry and stole property. The burglary occurred in between 12/16@1830 - 12/17@0800.

Theft from Vehicle- 1600 Block of Lexington Ave.
A Community Service Officer reported an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole property. The theft occurred in between 12/16@2000 - 12/17@0900.

Theft from Vehicle- 1600 Block of Lexington Ave.
A Community Service Officer reported an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole property. The theft occurred in between 12/17@ 0030-0830 hours.

Warrant Arrest-8600 block of Terrace Dr.
At 1252 hours, officers were dispatched to the address for an unwanted person. Officers responded to the residence and located the 35 year old female. Officers conducted a records check of the female and discovered she had three outstanding warrants. The female was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Auto Burglary-6060 Central Ave.
An officer reported that an unknown suspect smashed the passenger’s side window of the victim’s vehicle and stole property. The burglary occurred in between 12/17@0500-0617 hours.

Attempted Robbery - Potrero Avenue / Ohlone Greenway:
At 2223 hours, an officer responded to the report of an attempted robbery. Two suspects confronted a pedestrian on the Ohlone Greenway. They punched the victim and rifled his pockets and applied a taser weapon to him. The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspects were described as a Hispanic male, approximately 17 years old, wearing a straw hat and green and white shorts and a black male approximately 17 years old, wearing a hooded sweatshirt. Two witnesses scared the suspects off and they fled on foot into the 1600 block of Lexington Avenue. The victim was treated by ECFD and given a ride home by the officer.

Felony DUI – Driving on a Suspended License - 11565 San Pablo Avenue:
At 2259 hours, an officer contacted the driver of a vehicle during a suspicious vehicle contact. The driver, a 27 year old male was driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He had numerous DUI convictions and he is currently awaiting his trial for his last ECPD arrest for DUI.

December 18th
Auto burglary – 9895 San Pablo Ave.
Between 0715 and 0723 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the victim’s rear driver side window and stole the victim’s backpack.

Auto burglary – 3030 El Cerrito Plaza
At 0727 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the victim’s rear window and stole a backpack. At the time, a passenger was in the front passenger seat. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his 30’s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Vandalism to vehicle – 3070 El Cerrito Plaza
Between 0715 and 0818 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the victim’s rear passenger window. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Auto burglary – 9895 San Pablo Ave.
Between 0740 and 0750 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the victim’s front passenger window and stole a backpack.

Shoplift – 11450 San Pablo Ave.
At 1241 hours, an officer accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 62-year-old Richmond man after he entered the store and stole alcohol and meat. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and released.

Warrant arrest – Hill St. / BART Path.
At 1039 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 38-year-old transient man for an outstanding warrant. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and released.

Warrant arrest – El Dorado Ave. / San Pablo Ave.
At 1040 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 26-year-old transient man for an outstanding warrant. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and released.

Strongarm Robbery – 2500 block Tulare Ave:
At 1921 hours, the victim and the suspect met in front of the victim’s residence. The victim was selling a computer on Craigslist and the suspect responded. The victim handed the suspect the computer to examine and the suspect tried to flee with the computer. The victim grabbed the suspect in a bear hug. The suspect fought back and was able to break free. The victim sustained a small cut on the bridge of his nose during the altercation. The suspect fled with the computer in a dark colored vehicle. The suspect was described as a black male, 22-23 years old, 5-10 and 170 pounds. He had short black hair and visible acne on his face. He wore a black Nike sweatshirt and plaid pajama pants.

Felon Possess Firearm, Felon Possess Tear Gas, Stolen Property, Warrant – 600 Block Lexington Ave:
At 1954 hours, an officer responded to a report of a man stealing an umbrella off the PR’s front porch. The suspect was carrying two Amazon packages as well and the PR suspected the packages were also stolen. The suspect, a 31 year old male from Richmond, was located at the Plaza BART station. The man was wanted on two Solano County Warrants. A search of his person and bags revealed he was in possession of a flare gun, ammo for the flare gun, tear gas, and mail belonging to other persons. A review of his criminal history revealed he was a convicted felon. He went to MDF.

DUI, Collision – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Avenue:
At 0037 hours, a 52 year old man from Kensington was arrested for DUI after he collided with a parked vehicle in the parking lot. He was cited and released.

December 19th

Vandalism to vehicle – Key Blvd. / Humboldt Ave.
Between 0800 and 0930 hours, an unknown suspect smashed the back hatch and right rear window but did not steal anything. TOO: 0800-0930

Mental health evaluation – San Pablo Ave. / Conlon Ave.
At 1057 hours, officers were dispatched to the area for a shirtless and shoeless man standing on the center median. Officers contacted a 27-year-old Oakland man. The man was rambling incoherently; provoking officers to use force, and could not answer simple questions regarding his mental state. The man was transported to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center via ambulance for treatment.

Disorderly conduct – San Pablo Ave. / Wall Ave.
While officers were dealing with a man suffering a psychotic break, a 52-year-old Kensington man walked through the scene and appeared intoxicated and disoriented. The man was found to be severely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant – 900 block Lexington Ave:
At 1919 hours, an officer arrested a 72 year old man from El Cerrito on a Contra Costa County DUI warrant. He was booked and cited.

DUI – San Pablo Ave / Santa Cruz Ave:
At 0052 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 44 year old man from San Francisco for DUI. He was released on a citation.

Vehicle Tampering – 6200 block Jordan Ave:
Sometime between 0005 and 0050 hours, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and conducted a ransack but nothing appeared missing.

DUI – San Pablo Ave / San Jose Ave
At 0100 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 45 year old man from Emeryville for DUI. He was released on a citation.

December 20th

Recovered stolen vehicle – 100 block of Ashbury Ave.
An officer located a 1991 Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen to the San Francisco PD on the 19th.

Vehicle theft – 100 block of Ashbury Ave.
Between 12/19/15 at 2200 hours and 12/20/15 at 0700 hours, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s 1998 Honda Accord.

Vehicle theft – 8800 block of Terrace Dr.
Between 12/19/15 at 1500 hours and 12/20/15 at 1000 hours, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s Pontiac.

Grand Theft – Lucky, 1000 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 2039 hours, an officer responded to the 600 block of Richmond Street and located a coin operated vending machine which had been stolen from Lucky. A review of the video surveillance footage showed the suspect remove the vending machine from the store approximately 10 minutes earlier. The vending machine was recovered and transported back to the store.

December 21st

Residential burglary – 8500 block of Terrace Dr.
Between 1730 and 2130 hours on the 20th, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence via an unlocked back door. Once inside, the suspect stole a purse and cash.

Grand theft – 410 El Cerrito Plaza
At 1355 hours, an unknown suspect entered the store, ripped several cell phones from the display, and ran out of the store. The suspect is described as a black male adult in hie late 20’s to early 30’s, wearing a black jacket and khaki pants.

Robbery – Eastshore Blvd. / Potrero Ave.
At 1550 hours, the victim was approached by two suspects who stated they had a firearm. The suspects demanded the victim’s property. The victim attempted to walk away from the suspects, but they gave chase and pulled her purse from her. After obtaining the property, the suspects fled in a dark colored vehicle. The suspects are described as two black male adults in their 20’s, wearing black sweatshirts and beanies.

Warrant – Central Ave / Santa Clara (Beat 10):
At 2112 hours, an officer arrested a 43 year old man from San Francisco on a no bail Alameda County Warrant. He was transported to MDF.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – S. 53rd Street / Potrero Avenue:
At 2138 hours, an officer recovered a tan 1993 Acura Integra which was reported stolen to Oakland Police on 8/28/15.
