The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Mississippi River...North Fork Forked Deer River. The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a

* Flood Warning for the Mississippi River at Caruthersville

* from Monday December 28 until further notice.

* At 12 PM Sunday the stage was...30.2 feet.

* Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.

* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Monday December 28 and continue to rise to near 43.5 feet by Wednesday January 06. Additional rises are possible thereafter. At 44.0 feet, In Tennessee, the farmer levee that goes south of Interstate 155 and on through Heloise, Midway, and Chic is topped at many places. All land east of the farmer levee to the corps levee is flooded or will flood soon. Elevator just south of the Interstate 155 bridge is flooding. Most all land in Northwestern Lauderdale County and and Western Dyer County west of the bluffs is flooded.. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: DYER ... LAKE ... LAUDERDALE
