Our agency is investigating an armed robbery, which occurred at about 1:30 pm on December 21, 2015 in the alley, between the 2500 block E. Stratford Ct. and E. Edgewood Ave. Five black male juveniles exited a blue Dodge Magnum and attempted to take the victims purse. One of the suspects pointed a black Daisy BB gun at the victim when they demanded the victim’s purse. The Daisy BB gun was discarded at the scene by the suspect and recovered by police. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse, and struck the victim in an attempt to obtain the purse. The suspects did not obtain the purse and fled from the scene in the blue Dodge Magnum, which had dark tinted windows.
