A neighbor in the area has reported seeing a silver 2000-2001 Pt Cruiser in the area around 3:00 am on two occasions (12/15, 12/16). Residents should be aware of this vehicle and contact police if seen in the area around this time frame again.

The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred in the 1000 block of Wood Lane in the northern section of Upper Macungie Township. The burglary, which occurred between the hours of midnight and 6:30 am today (December 14), involved the theft of a handgun and cash.
In addition to this burglary, the UMTPD made contact with neighbors of the victim who advised that suspicious activity occurred nearby, including garage door locks that were turned and a screen door that was out of place. In all, three neighbors reported this type of suspicious activity. All were in the 1000 block of Wood Lane.
