Two Local Youths Arrested for Target Store Burglary
Early this morning, at approximately 2:46 am, Palmdale Station received a 911 call that a front window of the Palmdale Target store (39440 10th Street West, PLM) had been smashed by two subjects. Deputies responded and were on scene almost immediately.
The first deputy on scene was advised the two subjects had entered through the smashed window and started to run down a store aisle, when they happened to run into some of the night shift employees inside the store. The subjects turned and ran out the same window they smashed. Units were broadcast the descriptions of the subjects and two local teenagers who matched the description were detained by deputies nearby.
The subjects were identified by witnesses as the two who committed the crime.
