On Monday, December 14, 2015, at approximately 1:12 AM, PSPD received a report of gunfire in the 2700 block of North McCarn Road. PSPD Patrol Officers arrived in the area and began searching for the source of the gunfire. Officers checking the area heard a male yelling and additional shots being fired from a backyard of a residence. Officers saw the suspect, Evan Ianni, yelling into a cellphone in the backyard. Ianni, who was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, later walked into the front yard of the residence and was taken into custody by officers positioned on the perimeter. Two handguns, ammunition, and handgun magazines were recovered during the investigation. There was no information to indicate the gunshots were fired at any person during the incident and there are no outstanding suspects. Ianni was transported to the Larry D.
