The South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying this pictured individual.

On November 24, 2015, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a suspect entered a residence in the 15100 Block of Cranbrook Avenue, El Camino Village (Unincorporated Gardena), and tried to kidnap two female children, 3 and 7-year-olds.

The suspect carried both girls from the residence and tried to put them into a dark colored SUV which was parked on the street. When the 7-year-old was able to get away from the suspect, he set the 3 year old on the ground and both girls ran back into their residence screaming. Their mother immediately called 911 to report the incident.

The suspect was last seen by the children next to the SUV in front of the victim’s residence.

The suspect is described as a male, Black, approximately 30-years-old, 6 foot tall, medium build.

Detectives obtained surveillance video of an individual seen near the residence prior to this incident occurring. Detectives are trying to identify this individual to determine if he witnessed the incident.

If you have any information about this individual or about this crime, please contact Detective Mark Yzabal at the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station, (323)820-6700. If you wish, you can remain anonymous.
