Muskegon's Winter Parking ban begins December 15, 2015. Courtesy warnings will be issued through holidays. 
Muskegon Police Department wants to remind residents that the Winter Parking Ban begins December 15, 2015, and runs through the last day of February, 2016. During that time street parking is prohibited between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am.
During the Christmas season officers will be issuing red "Warning" tags as a courtesy.
While the Winter Parking Ban is in effect, vehicles can be legally parked on the terrace (i.e., the area between the street and sidewalk).
