On Friday, November 20, 2015, Hope Mills Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Coffman Commons on Legion Road in reference to subjects possibly selling narcotics from their vehicle. One of the dispatched Officers observed the suspect vehicle, a blue Ford pickup truck, leaving the parking lot of Coffman Commons. The Officer followed the vehicle and, then stopped the vehicle on Legion Road near Cameron Road. The Officer then made contact with the occupants, later identified as Christopher William Hubbard, 29, of the 2100 block of Quail Ridge Drive, Fayetteville and William Scott Martin, 29, of the 5800 block of Columbine Road, Fayetteville. After a Fayetteville PD Police K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a handgun, Marijuana, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine in the vehicle. Officers also found scales and, other paraphernalia associated with selling drugs during their search of the vehicle. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where they were jailed on the following charges:
