HMPD Officers arrest two for Common Law Robbery 
On Friday 11/13/2015 at approximately 3:00pm, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to Walmart on North Main Street in reference to a suspects attempting to leave the store with stolen property. While Officers were en-route to Walmart they were told by the dispatcher that an active physical disturbance had begun between Walmart Loss Prevention Officers and the suspects. Upon arrival, Officers located and detained suspects Christopher Dwayne Edge, 33 of the 4700 block of Crouse Lane, in Parkton and April Marie Caulder, 31, of the same address. During the course of their investigation, Officers found that the suspects assaulted the Walmart employees as they attempted to flee the store. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where they were jailed for the following offenses:

1 count of Felony Common Law Robbery
1 count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
April Marie Caulder $12,000.00 bond
1 count of Felony Common Law Robbery
1 count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
