Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred on Monday, November 16, 2015, in the 100 block of South Bonnie Beach Place, East Los Angeles.

Deputies responded to the location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived on scene, they found that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim, a 48 year-old Hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses stated that they heard gunshots, but did not see any suspects or vehicles in the area.

The investigation is still on-going.
