Advisory

Strong Storms and Tornadoes Possible Beginning Tuesday Morning - http://avfd.com/messagecenter/detail?id=15921

What is the Danger?
Strong storms entering southeast Texas overnight hav the potential to bring heavy rain, damaging winds and tornadoes to parts of the region, including Harris County.
Current forecasts indicate the most likely period for severe weather will be between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. This could make the morning drive time more challenging that normal for some residents.
What You Should Do:
Residents should closely monitor local media for updated weather conditions before attempting their morning commute. Obey all precautionary instructions from emergency management and law enforcement officials.
If you encounter high water on the road, DO NOT attempt to drive through it. TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN is the best way to stay safe.
In the event of tornadoes, go to the lowest, window-free room of your home and stay there until danger passes. If you are in your vehicle, take shelter in a dry, low-lying area. Do not remain in the vehicle.
