WHO: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Lieutenant Mendoza, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Hawthorne Police Department.
WHAT: Homicide Bureau detectives, Los Angeles Police Department and Hawthorne Police Department personnel will discuss the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of Victim Cornelia Adrienne McIntosh that occurred in the 15800 block of Greenrock Avenue, Lake Los Angeles.
WHEN: Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Hawthorne Police Department, 12501 Hawthorne Boulevard, Hawthorne, CA 90250
NARRATIVE: On November 13, 2015, at 2:30 p.m., the victim was discovered in her residence located in the 15800 block of Greenrock Avenue, in unincorporated Los Angeles. The victim suffered from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim is Cornelia Adrienne McInstosh a FB/63 years old.
On November 13, 2015, Hawthorne Police Department detectives notified Lancaster Station regarding Suspect Revels who they suspected had shot two victims in the city of Hawthorne and one victim in the city of Los Angeles. In addition, they suspected that he also shot his roommate, live-in girlfriend Victim McInstosh, and she resided at 15827 Greenrock Avenue, Lake Los Angeles.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to 15827 Greenrock Avenue, Lake Los Angeles, to check on the welfare Victim McInstosh. The deputies were unable to contact anyone inside of the residence and obtained a search warrant to make entry. Upon making forced entry, they discovered Victim McIntosh had sustained a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, Homicide Investigators learned that Suspect Revels had driven to Las Vegas and was on the 15 freeway, just north of Barstow. On November 13, 2015, at approximately 1406 hours, California Highway Patrol Officers located Suspect Revels’ vehicle stopped on the southbound shoulder of the freeway. Upon making contact with Suspect Revels officers heard a single gunshot from inside the vehicle. The officers discovered Suspect Revels had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A handgun was recovered inside the vehicle. The gun contained two expended shell casings.
Investigators are requesting that if the public has any information regarding this case to please contact homicide bureau.
A press conference is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 3:30 p.m., at Hawthorne Police Department, 12501 Hawthorne Blvd, Hawthorne, CA 90250. Representatives from the Hawthorne Police Department, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will be in attendance to provide information regarding this case.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman that occurred in the 15800 block of Greenrock Avenue, Lake Los Angeles.
Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to a residence in the area regarding a welfare check call. When they arrived on scene, they discovered a 63 year-old female black adult victim had sustained a gunshot wound. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The investigation is still on-going.
