HCSO: Sheriff Ron Hickman and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation to launch the HCSO Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) 
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation to launch the HCSO Homeless Outreach Team (HOT).
HOT will focus on providing services to the estimated 4,500 homeless individuals living in the unincorporated areas of Harris County. Sheriff Ron Hickman has organized a coalition of community based service providers to partner with the Sheriff’s Office to provide access to housing, medical care, substance abuse treatment and mental health care. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation has generously allocated funds for the equipment, vehicles and supplies in use by HOT Deputies.
