Narrative:
The Thousand Oaks Police Investigations Bureau arrested a suspect in a recent commercial burglary.

During the early morning hours of October 24th 2015, a business in the 300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles was burglarized. This burglary resulted in several hundred dollars in damage to the business and loss of property. Evidence obtained during the initial investigation was provided to investigators from the Thousand Oaks Police Investigations Bureau. During the course of this investigation, detectives positively identified Chad Heisley as the suspect in the burglary.

On Thursday, November 12th 2015, detectives arrested Heisley for 459 PC/ Burglary. Investigators from the Thousand Oaks Investigations Bureau subsequently served a search warrant at Heisley’s residence located in the 1300 block of Calle Durazno in Thousand Oaks. During the search detectives located additional incriminating evidence implicating Heisley’s involvement in the burglary. Heisley was booked into the Ventura County jail with a set bail of $50,000.
