Narrative:
On 11/6/2015, narcotic detectives with the Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation of a Thousand Oaks resident, Brandon Thaisamran, who was selling illegal drugs to residents in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
Detectives were able to locate Thaisamran and followed him to a public parking lot in Los Angeles County. Detectives observed Thaisamran conduct a meeting with a subject who detectives believed was there to purchase drugs from Thaisamran. After the meet, detectives followed Thaisamran into Ventura County where deputies with the Thousand Oaks Police Directed Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle.
Thaisamran was found to be on probation and under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested and his vehicle was searched. Deputies located over 46 grams of methamphetamine, numerous prescription medications and evidence he was actively involved in the sales of those drugs.
Thaisamran was transported to the East County Jail where he was booked for possession for sales of a controlled substance, sales of a controlled substance, possession for sale of a designated drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and under the influence of a controlled substance.
Thaisamran posted $50,000.00 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on 11/23/2015, at 1:30PM.
