Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are asking for the public's assistance and are seeking information regarding the stabbing death of a man that occurred on Monday, November 9, 2015. The incident occurred on bus line 81 at the intersection of North Figueroa Street and Meridian Street, Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man that occurred on Monday, November 9, 2015, at North Figueroa Street and Meridian Street, in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned that three male Hispanic suspects entered bus line 81 at 57^th Avenue and Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. They then walked to the back of the bus where they began to argue with the victim. During the argument, one of the suspects produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. When the bus came to a stop at the intersection of North Figueroa Street and Meridian Street, Los Angeles, the suspects immediately exited and fled westbound on Meridian Street.

The victim, a male Hispanic adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still on-going.

NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the area of North Figueroa Street and Meridian Street, Los Angeles, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man. The incident occurred shortly before 10:40 PM on Monday, November 9, 2015.

The victim, a male Hispanic adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.
