The Green Bay Police Department assist the Wisconsin State Patrol with a vehicle pursuit that had entered the City of Green Bay.

On Saturday, November 8, 2015 at approximately 11 PM, The Green Bay Police Department was asked to assist the Wisconsin State Patrol with a vehicle pursuit that had entered the City of Green Bay. As Green Bay officers were responding to the area of the fleeing vehicle, they were updated by State Patrol units that the fleeing vehicle had crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of E. Mason and Abrams streets. The State Patrol advised the driver exited the vehicle and was now on foot running from the scene of the accident. As a result of the crash power was temporarily knocked out to the surrounding eastside neighborhoods as well as several signal controlled intersections located on the east side of Green Bay.
Officers from multiple jurisdictions began searching the area with police canines, but were unable to locate the fleeing driver. The suspect vehicle was later determined to be a recently reported stolen vehicle through the from Brown County Sheriff’s Department. The incident currently remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
