APD seeking public’s assistance in identifying sexual assault suspect

The Arlington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a sexual assault suspect. The victim was assaulted in the early morning hours on October 29, 2015 in the 800 block of North Watson Road. According to the victim, she was walking alone and was approached by the suspect who posed as a Good Samaritan and asked her if she needed help. The suspect was able to lure the victim into his vehicle. The suspect then drove the victim behind a nearby business and committed a sexual assault.

The suspect is described as a white man, heavy build with dirty blonde to brownish hair, a goatee, beard and blue eyes. He was driving a 2000-2006 white Chevrolet Suburban with no front grill, damage to the hood and passenger side door, factory rims, black trim, black luggage racks and tinted windows. We have obtained still photos and surveillance video of the suspect vehicle and the suspect. Those items are included in this release.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Arlington Police Detective Angie Franco at 817-459-5352. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward and can remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477 or online at 469TIPS.com
