A 39 year old Torrance resident is facing 33 counts of forgery and grand theft charges.
Lomita detectives, investigating a forgery case identified and arrested Jennifer McBee, 39, of Torrance CA. During the investigation, McBee was identified in an additional, unrelated, high dollar loss forgery and grand theft case.
The victim, a 73 year old Rancho Palos Verdes resident was alerted by his bank of unusual banking transactions.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, Lomita detectives presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in Torrance Superior Court. 33 counts, related to forgery and grand theft were filed. McBee remains in custody on a no bail hold.
