Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult that occurred at 7:00 pm.

Deputies responded to the intersection of Shrode Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, Unincorporated Monrovia, regarding a “person shot” call. Upon their arrival, they found a victim, a male Hispanic adult, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, a female Hispanic adult, suffered a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The investigation is on-going.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are en route to the intersection of Shrode Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, Duarte, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and the wounding of a female adult.

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
