On 10/24/15, at approximately 2:51 AM, the Chula Vista Police Department received several 911 calls reporting a male lying on the side of the street on Telegraph Canyon Road (400 Block).

Officers arrived on scene and discovered that an adult male had been struck by a single vehicle traveling eastbound on Telegraph Canyon Road. The driver of the vehicle left the scene but later returned while officers were investigating the incident. The victim was not transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chula Vista Police Traffic Division will be conducting the investigation and eastbound traffic on the 400 block of Telegraph Canyon Road will be closed during this time.
