Potential Flooding Rains this Weekend 
The path of Hurricane Patricia will include southeast Texas. As a result we could see rain amounts from 3-9 inches beginning Saturday through early Monday.
South County Fire is prepared to respond to water emergencies, but we ask that citizens pay attention to the weather and not to drive through moving water. Vehicles can be swept away with only a few inches of moving water. Turn around, don't drown!
Keep away from creeks and bayou's where swift currents can sweep you into the water and move you rapidly downstream.
