(Revised) Press Release - 459 PC, 245(a)(1) PC 
On Thursday, October 22, 2015 at approximately 3:44 PM, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Sherman Avenue for a
burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers located Romiro Mora (age 33) of Corcoran in front of a residence and being detained
by two individuals. Through investigation it was determined that Mora broke into a residence and was confronted by the
homeowners who returned shortly after Mora entered the home. Mora assaulted the home owner with a garden tool when
confronted. Mora was detained inside of the residence by the residents after a significant struggle. Mora was taken outside and
held until officers arrived. Mora sustained injuries as a result of the struggle and is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
