Los Altos Police arrest suspect in connection with multiple residential burglaries 
Beginning in November of 2014 through August of 2015, the City of Los Altos experienced a series of 11 residential burglaries where high value bicycles were taken from secure residential garages. Evidence collected at the crime scenes led Los Altos Police to determine that the burglaries were likely committed by the same suspect.
As the investigation progressed, the suspected burglar was identified as San Jose resident, Marcus Anthony Trevino, DOB: 06/12/1975. The suspect was also on Santa Clara County probation for child abuse and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
On October 8, 2015, Los Altos Police Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect. On October 15, 2015, the suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Clara County main jail on burglary charges.
