Transient arrested for punching a doctor at Loma Linda University Medical Center

INCIDENT: PC 243c1 Battery upon a physician, PC 243(d) Battery with serious injuries, PC 422 Terrorist threats.
LOCATION: 11234 Anderson Street Loma Linda Ca. Loma Linda University Medical Center
SUSPECT: Oscar A. Ruvalcaba, age 29 , Transient
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday October 13, 2015 a physician at LLUMC was attending to Oscar Ruvalcaba regarding Ruvalcaba's medical status at the hospital. As they were speaking, Ruvalcaba became agitated. Ruvalcaba threatened to kill the physician and the physician's family. Ruvalcaba got up from his chair and stood next to the physician. Ruvalcaba punched the physician in the face with his fist one time. The sheriff's department responded and placed Ruvalcaba under arrest.
The physicians nose was fractured in two places due to the punch. She was treated at the hospital and released.
