Two men attempt to kidnap female jogger in Apple Valley; similar reports in the Victor Valley may be related 
DATE/TIME: Friday, October 9, 2015 7:15 a.m.
INCIDENT: Attempt Kidnapping
LOCATION: 20000 block of Nisqually Road, Town of Apple Valley
VICTIM: 20 year old white female
SUSPECT(S): #1: Hispanic male adult, approximately 35-45 years old, 5’9”-6’0”, 170 lbs. with a thick Hispanic accent. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey beanie, and black pants.
#2: Hispanic male adult, approximately 50 years old, 5’4”, 200-210 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a green beanie, unknown clothing.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Older white Ford full sized panel van with a black full length roof rack (unknown plate or model).
SUMMARY:
The victim was jogging on Nisqually Road when she noticed a white Ford van occupied by the suspects parked on the north side of the street. As the victim passed by the van, the suspects got out and confronted her. Suspect #2 stood by the front of the van as suspect #1 exited the passenger door and approached the victim. Suspect #1 asked the victim “Hey where are you going” as he attempted to kidnap her by grabbing the victim’s wrist and forcing her towards the van. The victim pulled away from the suspect and escaped to a nearby residence and called 911. The suspects returned to their van and drove westbound on Nisqually Road.
There have been similar reports in the Victor Valley that may be related to this crime and it is believed the suspects maybe targeting females who are out jogging in the early morning hours. Investigators encourage any additional victims and witnesses to come forward with any information.
