Signal Hill, CA - Diners at Applebee's in Signal Hill will enjoy an extra level of service on Wednesday November 4, 2015 when law enforcement officers from the Signal Hill Police Department will serve alongside waiters to provide guests with a memorable evening and exceptional service. The officers will be collecting tips and donations to benefit Special Olympics at the annual "Tip-A-Cop" ® event. Tip-A-Cop is a fun and entertaining way to raise funds and build public awareness for local Special Olympics Athletes.

The public is invited to participate in this Tip-A-Cop event by having a good time, supporting a great cause, dining out, and meeting their local law enforcement officers. The event will be at Applebee's located at 899 E. Spring St, Signal Hill CA 90755 from 5pm - 7pm.

All tips are a tax deductible donation to Special Olympics - Long Beach Area which provides athletic training and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the Long Beach area. The Tip-A-Cop program is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run ®; the largest grassroots fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics.
