*2nd Update* Suspect In-Custody, Deputy Involved Shooting, 13400 Blk of Crossroads Parkway North, City of Industry 
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives responded to the 13400 block of Crossroads Parkway North, City of Industry, to investigate the circumstances surrounding a deputy-involved shooting.
Detectives have learned at approximately 11:30 p.m., Industry Station deputies responded to the above location regarding a “Suspicious Person in a Vehicle” call. Deputies arrived at the location and saw the man who was in the vehicle, flee with a handgun. Deputies conducted a search for the suspect.
While searching for the suspect, the suspect fired several times at the deputies, and a deputy-involved shooting occurred. The suspect then hid in the foliage leading up to the (60) Pomona Freeway. The suspect was ordered several times to surrender to deputy personnel, but did not comply.
Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel responded, and after several attempts to negotiate his surrender, the suspect was taken into custody by SEB personnel.
The suspect, a 41-year-old male Hispanic, was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds to his upper torso. His condition is unknown at this time.
A weapon was recovered at the scene.
No deputy personnel were injured.
The identification and booking photo of the suspect are not being released, pending a further investigation by Homicide personnel.

Special Enforcement Bureau, K-9 members located the suspect, a male adult, and took him into custody without further incident.
It has been confirmed that during the deputy-involved shooting, the suspect was struck by deputy gunfire. He will be transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect’s weapon was recovered at the scene.
Evacuations of the neighboring residents have been lifted.

Whenever an Officer Involved Shooting occurs involving Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies and it results in the wounding of a suspect, multiple independent investigations immediately begin at the scene. These include separate investigations by the Office of the Los Angeles County District Attorney in addition to investigations by Sheriff's Homicide Bureau and Internal Affairs Bureau. The Office of the Inspector General is also present. Once concluded, every aspect of the shooting is reviewed by the Sheriff's Executive Force Review Committee.
