Update: Weather Information Bulletin - Hurricane Joaquin

The threat of significant rainfall over the next few days has diminished. Periods of rain over the next few days could total 1 - 2 inches. Minor tidal flooding is possible at high tide. Urban flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas is possible.

Hurricane models and track by the National Hurricane Center have varied by hundreds of miles along the east coast in the last 24-36 hours. Current track has Hurricane Joaquin well offshore. That being said preparations should continue for a potential impact to our area due to the fact that things could change between now and Monday.
Fair Lawn Emergency Management will continue to monitor this situation and issue updates as necessary.
