Why: So the people we serve can see “A day in The Life of a Deputy”
Sergeant Meadows and Deputy Moore, Public Information Officers at Sheriff’s Information Bureau, along with Sergeant Yvonne O'Brien and Deputy Tiffany Park from the Sheriff's Recruitment unit will be online to give the citizens a perspective of what a "Day in the Life of a Deputy Sheriff " looks like while on patrol. They will be gearing up and going out in the field and responding to emergent and priority calls in a city within County of Los Angeles. They will be tweeting the calls they respond to; answering questions; and showing the interactions we have with the public day-to-day. To be a part of this ‘tweet-along’ you can follow @LASDTalk on Twitter. They will include the hashtag #LASDchat and #POLTWT. You can ask them questions directly on @LASDTalk. Officer and public safety permitting, they will answer your questions during the day of the ride-along.
