The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is currently investigating multiple thefts from vehicles in the Trexlertown area. It is believed that these thefts occurred during the overnight hours of 09/23/2015 and early morning hours of 09/24/2015.
Thefts were reported from vehicles parked off of Hamilton Blvd., Trexler Circle, Trexlertown Road, and Walter Street. Various items were taken from vehicles- some of which were unlocked. At least one incident involved prying (into a locked box in a truck bed).
The UMTPD intends to arrest and fully prosecute those responsible for these thefts. Anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters at 484-661-5911, or use the UMTPD anonymous tip/text line at 610-295-2753.
