Reference: Armed Robbery Seaway Liquor

The Norton Shores Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at Seaway Liquor, 770 W Summit, on September 20, 2015 at approximately 0120 hrs. The suspect entered the store and immediately shot an employee in the left shoulder with a black airsoft handgun. The victim was a 28 yr old male Norton Shores resident.

The suspect ordered employees to give him cash (undisclosed amount) out of the register before fleeing eastbound through the parking lot.

The suspect was described as 5’9, thin build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with an unknown word across the front, loose fitting black sweatpants with a white draw string, white shoes, a black Chicago White Sox ball cap, and carrying a green backpack. The suspect was also wearing a white character mask.

The employee that was shot received minor injuries during the incident.
