On 09-20-2015, at approx. 2031 hours, a WCPD Officer attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle without any license plates. A short pursuit ensued and terminated when the female driver and male passenger foot bailed. The vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Lafayette. Stolen property was located inside the vehicle. With the assistance of a CHP helicopter, a Concord PD K-9, and WCPD's own K-9 unit, the passenger was located nearby. Aaron Thompson 4-26-80 of Walnut Creek was arrested for possession of stolen property and several outstanding warrants. More charges are pending. The female driver was not located but has been identified.
