While conducting a routine traffic stop in Hinkley deputies discover 20lbs of marijuana

SUMMARY:
On September 16, 2015, a deputy from the Barstow Sheriff's Station, while working routine patrol, observed a black sedan following too close to another vehicle. As the deputy approached the vehicle, he noticed it did not have a rear license plate and conducted a traffic stop for the violations. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 29 year old Francisco Lopez Paz, was found to be driving without a license. During an inventory search of the vehicle the Deputy located approximately 20 pounds of marijuana hidden in the trunk of the vehicle. Francisco Paz was arrested for HS 11360; Tranportation of Marijuana and was booked at the Barstow Jail.
