Ceres, CA – On September 13, 2015 at approximately 10:00 P.M., Ceres Police Department received a call of shots fired in the 1600 block of Darrah Street. Within minutes the victim, a 34 year old Hispanic male, called the police and reported being shot by an unknown assailant on Darrah Street. The victim briefly told the responding officers he was visiting friends in the area and was approached by a Hispanic male approximately 18 years of age. The Hispanic male was armed with a handgun and without provocation shot at the victim several times. The victim suffered two potential life threatening wounds as a result of the attack and was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
