On Saturday September 12, 2015 between 1000 AM and 12 Noon, the Signal Hill Police Department and the California Army Reserve - National Guard will partner for a joint training exercise.  The training exercise is part of the department's on-going emergency preparedness efforts.  During the exercise, citizens might observe Army Humvees and/or SHPD patrol vehicles parked at various locations throughout the city.  The National Guard and SHPD personnel will be participating in a mock scenario to test interoperability communications between the two agencies in the event of an emergency.
