Canyon Country West: Zone 7 - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the Week of 08/10/2015- 08/16/2015
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred and are currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives :
A residential burglary occurred near the 18800 block of Vista Del Canon. Person(s) unknown forced entry through the victim’s living room window and stole property from within.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 26900 block of Flo Lane. Person(s) unknown made entry into the victim’s detached garage by means unknown and stole two kitchen appliances from within.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 20500 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The victim spotted the suspect rummaging through his vehicle while parked near the location. He called the police and the suspect was arrested for vehicle burglary.
A shoplifting occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. One suspect was arrested for taking store items and making no attempt to pay for the items.
