Here’s a look back at the crimes reported in the Newhall area last week:

Between Saturday, 08/15/15 at 6:45 p.m., and Sunday, 08/16/15 at 12:30 a.m., an apartment was burglarized in the 21200 block of Ficus Drive.  There was a window broken, but it may not have been how entry was made.  Several electronic and personal items were stolen.

On Saturday, 08/15/15, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 25000 block of Peachland Avenue.  Report information was not available at this time.

Between Wednesday, 08/12/15, and Thursday, 08/13/15, a suitcase that had been left in a shopping cart was stolen in the 23500 block of Wiley Canyon. 

On Thursday, 08/13/15 at 2:00 p.m., a male and a female took approximately 8 boxes of candy bars from a business in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue.   

There were five adults arrested in the Newhall area last week.  One arrest was for assault, one for an illegal weapon, two for narcotics charges, and one for DUI.
