Full Notification

The body of a male adult was found in a desert area near 140^th St. East and Avenue I, near unincorporated Lake Los Angeles at about 10:30AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015.  Los Angeles County Sheriff's Search and Rescue deputies and Lancaster Sheriff's Station patrol deputies were in the area conducting a search mission when the body was found. 

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are en route to the scene to conduct the investigation. Officials from the Los Angeles County Coroner are responding to the scene to recover the remains and have the responsibility to identify the deceased person.
