Ripon Ca. – On 08-12-15, at a brief ceremony, Corporal Mario Ysit was officially promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Ysit has been employed with the Ripon Police Department for 3 years. He has previous law enforcement and paramedic experience. He spent the last year working as a Field Training Officer. This promotion was made possible due to the recent retirement of a veteran police supervisor.
